retrieving hitch hikers?

From: Lisa Lazar (lazar.bauer@earthlink.net) | Date: 2005-10-09 05:36:14 UTC
I've read several people saying something along the lines of "we'll be
calling in our hitch hiker soon," and for the life of me I can't
figure how one catches up with a hitch hiker once it has been planted.

What am I missing?

I've been thinking about doing this, partly to check out the logbooks,
partly to see if the ones whose travels have never been posted or noted
anywhere are actually still out there. I figured that the best I could
do would be to post that I wanted them back and hope that someone on
the list found them and remembered my post.......

Since we're here anyway, lol..... If anyone finds a HH from the
"Infestation Series," please let me know. I'd like to at least catch up
on their progress - if there is one I'd like to have return home for
first aid or some other reason, I'll pick up the postage.

Thanks!

I actually just had one mailed home to me. It was one I sent out the day I
returned to school with the intention of recalling it the day I walked
across the stage. I put the word out, and just two weeks ago someone emailed
me saying they had picked it up and I asked them to return it to me. They
did and it now has a place of honor on my letterboxin shelf!
